Today(27Jun08) his final day at the office Bill Gates officially retires from his job at Microsoft, Actually I am fan of Apple and Steve Jobs but today I am not going to compare Steve Jobs and Bill Gates , they both are legends but definitely Bill Gates gets all credit to reached personal computer on every desk in every home.
For me, a computer is probably the most important invention after Electricity and Telecommunication It made difficult tasks more easier, faster and fun. This is where Bill Gates played an important role. Gates made sure that a computer is accessible by even an ordinary man. He was the first person to have created an operating system that makes a computer easy to use as a personal tool.
It will be interesting to see how life will be at Microsoft without this man. Will there be another Bill Gates in the near future?or Is it the Beginning of the End for Microsoft ? Only the future will tell.But I think Microsoft defiantly affected after bill gates.
So thank you Bill Gates for Windows, and contribution for making the IT industry interesting.
Long live Bill Gates and long live Microsoft.
