Google has announced that the upcoming Android 1.6 OS update is expected to ship on devices as early as October. The timing could be an indication that the OS will arrive with handsets such as the Moto Cliq on T-Mobile, or potentially Sprint’s HTC Hero.
The 1.6 update brings a fresh Android Market layout, following a variety of complaints from developers. The content is now organized in a similar way to Apple’s App Store, with different sections for top paid, top free or new apps. The lack of screenshots — another common moan — has also been corrected.
Does anyone know which kind of video recordsdata are supported? I keep in mind the Intuition only may dl 3gp utilizing opera mini. I downloaded the twist ap, possibly that’s the issue? How can I watch movies from websites aside from youtube? Which file varieties? Usually I’m given the choice of 3gp or mpeg4. Cannot get either to work. Thanks for your time! Thanks for the nice article, I am very excited. I have had my phone for just over a month now and am really taking part in all of the loose apps from the android market, having the ability to have the web and navigation at my fingertips all the time. The only lower than idea feature is the picture/video textual content messages, as they are not downloading properly.
